There's something about New York city that makes you feel like you're living The Life, without actually lving it. That's probably because of shows like Sex and the City completely idolize the lifestyle of the single professional female in the city. The moment you see those high rises it's like you can have all you've ever wanted and more. That beautiful dream is also a big fat LIE.Nobody (including Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte, or Miranda) have it all. But thanks to SITC I have become fixed on having it all, without actually considering what I can actually get. Worse yet, I foget that all I really need I already have. So what do I want? A pair of Manolo Blahniks the quaint essential shoe of the SITC heroine Carrie Bradshaw.
These shoes represent life in the city as it can be: Fun, Fabulous, and Expensive. With this new pair of Manolos at my side I'll be walking into the future standing tall and one foot at a time, just like any other person. Only difference is I've already got it all.
